![]() ![]() As you can note, Iįollowed the solution that worked for the previous guy, but it didn't work for me either. We might have completely different setups in our laptops. I understand it fixed it for you, but that doesn't necessarily mean it would work for me. Have to do a complete reset of Windows, with no guarantees that it will fix the problem. You can't just clone an image and restore from that or you would be right back where you started. Especially re-installing all the programs and getting them all back up to date, etc. People in this discussion have repeatedly said the problem began directlyĪfter the update to Windows 10. If its driver related, seems you could roll back to an earlier version. I would think running the System File Checker command would find the bad files and replace them with the right files. ![]() But, if that worked for you, thats great, but if its OS related, I'm not one to just reset the entire OS over one issue. resetting Windows is always the easy way out to fixing numerous problems. I had exactly the same problem! But I mannaged to solve this problem by reseting windows 10 !!! I know, I know! So, it was a solution for you, but didn't work for me. After about a minute, it says it failed toĬonnect and tv goes back to normal. I put tv in Mirroring mode, then on my Windows 10 Alienware R2 15" laptop, I go to the Connect icon and choose the tv and it proceeds to connect, instantly making the tv screen go black. The computer recognizes the tv, sets up the drivers and shows as installed device and connected. ![]() I switched from 5ghz to 2.4ghz, same results. I checked for updates on my Samsung TV and was on the latest update already. ![]() ***Post moved by the moderator to the appropriate forum category.*** Has anyone else had this issue and if so how do I troubleshoot this? Is it a windows 10 issue or an issue with the TV? i was able to connect my mobile device to my TV with no problem, so i'm assuming this is a windows 10 issue. The TV shows that it recognizes my laptop, and it even shows loading on the TV, but in the end nothing ever connects. ON the devices screen the TV Samsung device says connecting,īut in the end it never connects. I find my TV Samsung device and click on it. a side bar pops up and I click on the link for connect to wireless display. On my Lenovo I go to start and search for project to a second screen. when I try to connect, it goes thru the process of connecting, on my TV it even recognizes my Lenovo and states "loading" on the TV screen, but after about 10 seconds or so my TV goes back to a normal cable channel and does not connect. I tried using the screen mirroring function to have my Lenovo display on my TV. yesterday I purchased a brand new 55" Samsung smart tv. Hello I recently upgraded my Lenovo thinkpad X1 carbon to windows 10 from windows 8.1. ![]()
